Increase in churn rate Print
The “Churn Rate” chart had a bug that caused it to count games from multiple web sites when it was supposed to be only showing games from RealAracde.  It has been fixed. Now you can see the true increase in “churn rate” in the top 10 lists.  The Churn Rate chart shows how many different games appeared in the weekly top 10 list in each quarter.  Back in 2003 and 2004 the same games hung out in the weekly top 10 list for many weeks and there were usually only 25 different games in weekly the top 10 each quarter.  In 2005 more games started to pass though the top 10 list each quarter and each game would stay fewer weeks on average. In the first quarter of 2006 there were 40 different games in the weekly top 10 list.
